The Richard Fuchs Archive was established in August 2008 to preserve, publish, and promote the works of Richard Fuchs
Richard Fuchs was a Late Romantic German Jewish composer whose music was banned by the Nazis. After his release from Dachau Concentration Camp he immigrated to New Zealand, but as an enemy alien in war-time New Zealand he was ignored, his music lost and forgotten.
Today his music is being rediscovered nationally and internationally.
